To maintain excellent quality instruction on our workshops, we keep the maximum number of participants low so that the instructor-student ratio is high. 

During our junglecraft workshops and wild camps the emphasis is on you learning techniques, skills and gaining experience of applying them so that you make them your own. 

We can also provide private workshops for idividuals and groups that would like to have a tailor-made junglecraft training and event to your objectives.



CUTTING TOOLS & TECHNIQUES

This workshop gives you a detailed understanding of the appropriate knives & cutting tools used in the jungle.

Gain the knowledge and skills of how to use these cutting tools safely and efficiently while learning the different knife grips and cutting techniques.

FIRE FOUNDATION & LIGHTING TECHNIQUES

One of the most important, if not the most important skill to have is the ability to create and control fire. 

Discover the art of primitive fire starting to modern techniques and learn about the different natural materials that can be harvested and used to start fire.

SHELTER BUILDING

Making home away from home with modern equipment such as a tarp to primitive shelters using natural materials harvested from the jungle.

Discover the different configurations that a simple tarp can provide and the knots that make all the possibilities come together. 

With these skills, all you need is a little bit of creativity and ingenuity, you can transform your surroundings into a home away from home, using only the resources that nature provides.

CUTTING TOOLS SHARPENING & MAINTENANCE

Sharpening knives and tools is not as daunting and difficult as you may think. 

A sharp knife is a safe knife as mentioned and demonstrated in my Cutting Tools & Techniques Workshop and in this workshop we will look at the different sharpening techniques and equipment that will get your tools shaving sharp. 



PRIMITIVE HUNTING

Getting in touch with how our ancestors use to hunt and gather food with small game traps & snares. 

Learn how to construct a simple yet effective small animal trap and understand how to set one up for a successful hunt.  

Have a go at using a blowpipe, a hunting tool that is still used today by the Orang Asli.


PARANG SKILLS

The parang is a versatile and essential tool in the jungle, used for clearing paths, chopping wood and preparing food. 

In this workshop, you will learn how to properly use and care for a parang, as well as essential techniques for chopping and carving. You will guide you through the process of selecting the right parang for your needs, honing your technique, and maintaining your tool for optimal performance. 

Whether you are a seasoned outdoorsman or a beginner, this workshop will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to master the parang and thrive in the wilderness. Let's get started and discover the art of parang!

LOST IN THE JUNGLE

Welcome to the captivating Lost in the Jungle Workshop! Are you ready to embark on an exhilarating adventure deep into the heart of an untamed wilderness? This unique workshop is designed to immerse participants in a simulated jungle survival scenario, where you'll put your skills and instincts to the ultimate test.

Throughout the workshop, you'll receive comprehensive training in essential survival techniques. You will learn valuable skills such as building shelters, finding and purifying water sources, identifying edible plants, navigating using natural landmarks, and crafting tools from available resources.

What matters is not to just survive, but to be able to strive in the jungle.

PRIMITIVE COOKING

The jungle has an abundance of resources. When it comes to food, it just tastes a whole lot better when you are cooking over an open fire and crafting tools provided from nature itself. 


BAMBOO CREATIONS

Learn how to make beautiful environmentally friendly and functional items from bamboo.


 From simple items used at camp to ornaments that you can take home to show your creations to friends and family.


CORDAGE & BINDCRAFT

Get to know the different plant fibres that can be harvested and turned into strong cordage. 


Another item that is environmentally friendly that is always needed when camping and performing outdoor activities. 

In this workshop, we will teach you the art of creating cordage from natural fibers and how to use it to make functional items such as baskets, nets, and traps. You will also learn how to use cordage to create bindings, lashings, and knots for constructing structures, tools, and other objects. 

This workshop is suitable for anyone interested in traditional crafts, survival skills, or simply learning a new skill. 


ORANG ASLI WEAVING TECHNIQUES

Learn about the different species of Rattan that grow wild in our jungle.


Rattan is a very useful resource with a magnitude of uses and one of them is weaving a bracelet that is typical to the Orang Asli in Malaysia. 




SPOON CARVING

One of the skills that is synonymous to bushcraft or junglecraft is spoon carving.


 Enhance your knife skills and cutting techniques while tapping into your creative mind to carve a functional tool.




ADVANCE SPOON CARVING

Diving deeper into the art and techniques from splitting a log to finally carving a functional and practical spoon.


 Learn the tips and tricks that will help you be more efficient and creative with your spoon carving journey. 





KOLROSING & CHIP CARVING

Kolrosing is a Scandinavian technique of decorating wood with small, delicate cuts using a knife. Learn the art of decorating items that you have carved and personalise them.

BUBU/FISH TRAP MAKING

Bubu traps have been used for centuries by fishermen around the world and are known for their effectiveness in catching a variety of fish species. 


In this workshop, we will guide you through the process of creating your own Bubu using traditional techniques and materials.


By the end of the workshop, you will have gained a new skill and created a functional tool for catching fish in a sustainable and eco-friendly way. 




WILD FORAGING & EDIBLES

Wild foraging for edibles is deeply rooted in our identity as a species dating back to our humble beginnings.


A great way to experience the natural world and connect with something ancient and primal within ourselves.



PARENT & CHILD INTRO TO JUNGLECRAFT

An opportunity for you and your child to learn and experience the fundamentals of junglecrft together. 


You will guide you through various outdoor activities, such as shelter building, fire starting, foraging, and basic knife skills. Through these activities, you will develop valuable junglecraft & survival skills and deepen your connection with nature.
